Brookvale Community Health Centre Administration Officer. As Front of House, the Administration Officer plays a critical role in the operation of BCHC. They work closely with a wide range of community health services and support patients, carers and visitors to BCHC.

Where you'll be working
Brookvale Community Health Centre.

What you'll be doing

  • To provide reception and administrative support to staff working at Brookvale Community Health Centre (BCHC). 
  • To assist consumers/patients/clients and visitors /contractors to access services at the centre in a manner consistent with NSLHD Values and Behaviour Charter.
  • To undertake responsibility for day to day centre management tasks including the reception common areas
  • To liaise with all staff, teams and key stakeholders across Northern Sydney Local Health District as required.
  • Ensure communication and escalation of issues including Work Health and Safety matters to the appropriate personnel/ department in a timely manner.   
     


People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria.

  1. Previous experience in the provision of receptionist duties and administrative support within a customer focussed framework.
  2. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritise workloads and operate in a fast paced environment as part of a larger multidisciplinary team. Ability to identify and manage problems with an understanding of when to escalate to appropriate staff and/or management.
  3. Demonstrated computer literacy, data entry and keyboard skills, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and data bases.
