Based at Ryde hospital within the Occupational Therapy team.
Ryde Hospital is having an incredible $479 million complete hospital redevelopment that will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Ryde local community.
The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment will result in new health facilities and enhanced services including emergency, ICU/critical care, inpatient units, outpatient/ambulatory care services and much more.
Construction commenced in early 2023, and will provide you with a wonderful and exciting opportunity to be part of the Ryde team to change the future health services for the Ryde Community completely.
This position works across the Ryde hospital site providing assistance and support to the Occupational Therapy team in the delivery of an efficient and high quality Occupational Therapy Service.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
- Certificate IV in Allied health Assistance or willingness to undertake this training or other qualification deemed equivalent by NSLHD.
- Demonstrated previous relevant experience in a health care setting. Demonstrate an understanding of the role of an Allied Health Assistant within a large organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising Occupational Therapist.
