We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and motivated Administration Officer to join the Antenatal Department at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. As a member of our team, you will be given opportunities to grow and develop your Administrative skills. You will work together with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to achieve a common goal of delivering high quality patient centred care.

Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until 10 November 2026 (with possibility of ongoing employment)
Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 3
Remuneration: $35.84 - $36.96 per hour
Hours Per Week: 22

Where you'll be working
Working within the outpatient Antenatal Clinic at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital.

What you'll be doing
The Antenatal Administration Officer will assist with enquiries from patients, their family and carers efficiently and courteously, referring to the appropriate clinician for patient information. They will complete all required administrative tasks in a timely and efficient manner and support the Midwifery Unit Manager and Midwifery staff as required.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

 
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
  3. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
