Administration Officer
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the North Shore Ryde Mental Health Service with a particular focus on the Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC).

What you'll be doing
To assist and participate in the delivery of an efficient, effective and comprehensive service in the North Shore Ryde Mental Health Service. This is achieved by managing a busy switchboard, answering general inquiries, referring to clinicians and other staff members as appropriate, greeting consumers and other visitors, managing appointments, medical records and fulfilling general office duties. This position holds a particular emphasis on supporting the efficient operation and workflow of the PECC unit, however will also support the Community Mental Health teams as required.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in the coordination and operational management of a health care department. Highly developed communication skills - both verbal and written, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in managing a busy switchboard. Demonstrated efficiency in Office (Word and Excel), Word processing (40 words/minute) and data entry.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate medical records.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team. Experience in or a willingness to learn the following information systems: WINC, procurement, eMR and HealthRoster.
