We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and self-motivated Administration Officer to join our team. Successful applicants will be eligible to complete Certificate III and Cert IV in Health Administration.

Remuneration: $42.14 - $43.14 per hour

Royal North Shore Hospital

What you'll be doing
This position must ensure that both frontline and secretarial staff are delivering high quality administrative services in a customer focused manner and in accordance with Hospital and departmental policies. This role involves the oversight supervision of administrative services whilst also providing support to Clinicians, nursing staff, revenue and other senior admin officers within PSIU.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria

  1. Demonstrated experience in providing high level senior executive support, ability to use information technology and systems such as eMR, HP Records management (TRIM), Outlook and Microsoft Office.
  2. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, interpersonal skills and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels. Well-developed customer service skills.
  3. Demonstrated skills with advanced knowledge in relation to pay enquiries for relevant staff, staff leave management, rostering of administration staff to meet the needs of the department.
