An exciting opportunity exists to join to DHS team as a Technical Programs Manager. You will be working on key initiatives to support hardware lifecycle management, network and server projects.
Employment Type: Full Time Temporary until 29 May 2026 (with the possibility of ongoing employment)

Remuneration: $2720.93 - $3241.77 per week

What you'll be doing
The position of Technical Programs Manager exists within Digital Health Services (DHS) and supports all sites within Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD). Under the leadership of the Deputy Director Digital Health the position is responsible for strategic and operational management of the Customer Support Services and Technical Service stream including Network Communications and Server Operations. The position is responsible for strategic and operational oversight of DHS projects and day-to-day business operations to align with the LHDs Strategic Plan, DHS Plan, DHS Charter, DHS Operational Plan and other strategic initiatives. The Technical Programs Manager oversees the full lifecycle of complex, cross-functional technical projects, from concept to completion, by managing resources, budgets, timelines, and risks while acting as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive projects from initiation to completion. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in health with a comprehensive understanding of Digital Health Services (DHS) /ICT requirements to support efficient and effective delivery of healthcare.
- Proven project and change management skills and the ability to deliver complex, sensitive, multidisciplinary projects within specified timeframes and budget.
- Demonstrated range of interpersonal, communication, professional & negotiation skills with a facilitative style of management that motivates and encourages trust, initiative and teamwork.
