The Michael J Cousins Pain Management & Research Centre is seeking an experienced clinical researcher to join our team working to improve the lives of people living with pain. This temporary role offers part-time hours, up to four days per week, initially until 31 Dec 2026 to support several clinical trials and research projects established within our multidisciplinary pain research group.

Where you'll be working
The Michael J Cousins Pain Management & Research Centre, Royal North Shore Hospital, St Leonards

What you'll be doing
The scientist is expected to provide high-level research support to the department of the Pain Management & Research Centre and other pain clinics in NSW, including advice and resources regarding research methodology and data analysis. 
 

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

 

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. A Bachelor degree or higher in a biomedical science or in a relevant field of research, and demonstrated experience working with human research subjects.
  2. Experience working effectively within collaborative research teams as well as the ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.
  3. Commitment to encouraging and promoting ethical conduct and integrity in health-related research, including knowledge of NHMRC statements, Good Clinical Practice, etc.
