The Michael J Cousins Pain Management & Research Centre is seeking an experienced clinical researcher to join our team working to improve the lives of people living with pain. This temporary role offers part-time hours, up to four days per week, initially until 31 Dec 2026 to support several clinical trials and research projects established within our multidisciplinary pain research group.

Remuneration: $58.96 - $77.39 per hour

What you'll be doing
The scientist is expected to provide high-level research support to the department of the Pain Management & Research Centre and other pain clinics in NSW, including advice and resources regarding research methodology and data analysis.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor degree or higher in a biomedical science or in a relevant field of research, and demonstrated experience working with human research subjects.
- Experience working effectively within collaborative research teams as well as the ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.
Commitment to encouraging and promoting ethical conduct and integrity in health-related research, including knowledge of NHMRC statements, Good Clinical Practice, etc.
