Directorate: Clinical Governance and Patient Experience - Building 21, RNSH Campus, St Leonards

What you'll be doing
The Patient Safety Improvement Manager leads delivery of the NSW Health Patient Safety Improvement Program and develops, coordinates, monitors and evaluates local systems that promote a culture of safety across NSLHD, contributing to optimised patient health outcomes. 

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
  1. Tertiary qualification in health related discipline or equivalent experience and demonstrated senior patient safety management experience in a complex healthcare environment.
  2. Highly developed understanding and extensive experience in the application and implementation of Patient Safety programs, Clinical Risk identification, improvement methodologies, system thinking and remediation within the complex health care setting with the ability to monitor, implement and evaluate the impacts.
  3. Demonstrated high level leadership with the ability to effectively motivate, mentor, coach and develop staff in a multidisciplinary environment promoting a culture of continual improvement.
