The Adolescent Inpatient Mental Health Unit (Brolga) is located in Hornsby. Our service provides a safe and therapeutic environment for 12–17-year-olds experiencing mental health problems. Where you'll be working

 
The Adolescent Inpatient Mental Health Unit (Brolga) is located in Hornsby.

What you'll be doing
Delivery of occupational therapy interventions on an individual and group basis. 
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the assessment, and occupational therapy intervention for consumers within the inpatient adult mental health services and rehabilitation program areas based at Hornsby Hospital.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. 

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and full registration with AHPRA.
  2. Experience in mental health assessment, care coordination and treatment/interventions, including group work.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Occupational Therapy models of practice for mental health interventions.
  4. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, including clinical documentation and computer literacy.
