Clinical Nurse Special Grade 2: $2,170.30 - $2,241.60
Clinical Psychologist: $2,093.71 - $2,551.93
Allied Health Professional (Level 3): $2,154.06 - $2,223.86

What you'll be doing
The clinician will provide best practice and evidence-based interventions in order to assist consumers transition to the least restrictive environment and to improve their quality of life. In addition,  they will strive to empower and support consumers in the recovery process. The successful applicant will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Full registration with relevant AHPRA boards, or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers, or a health science or applied science bachelors degree in leisure, recreation or diversional therapy recognised by the Diversional Therapy Association of Australian National Council. Clinical Psychologists must have minimum postgraduate Masters in Clinical Psychology. Allied Health Professionals must have minimum experience at a Level 2 or equivalent. Clinical Nurse Specialist 2 must have relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years of experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in a minimum of two evidence-based practices (such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Action Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, etc.).
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the assessment, formulation and treatment of psychosis and other mental health problems and family relationship issues.
  4. Relevant clinical mental health experience in a community setting which includes working with young people and their families.
  5. High level of communication skills, both verbal and written, and a demonstrated ability to work with both independently and with a multidisciplinary team.
  6. Demonstrated experience in managing consumers with a first episode psychosis.
  7. Current unrestricted NSW drivers license.
