Where you'll be working

Northern Beaches Assertive Outreach Team (NBAOT)

What you'll be doing

This current Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) portfolio within the NBAOT includes ongoing monitoring of the physical health/metabolic issues of complex consumers with varied comorbidities, weekly Wellness Clinic, preceptorship and education of staff, assisting medical team with clinical review, NBCMHS and NSLHD MHDA meeting/committee attendance, assisting care coordinators, and NBAOT referral management.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Registered Nurse who has a minimum of 5 years full time post graduate experience. In addition, the applicant must have an approved post graduate qualification and substantial relevant experience to the specialty.
  2. Demonstrated experience with research activities, developing and implementing education programmes.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and people from Government and Non-government agencies.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both as a member of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
  5. Demonstrated computer skills with experience using MS Office programs and electronic filing systems.
