What you'll be doing
 


 

Provide contemporary comprehensive specialist services in compliance with the BreastScreen NSW Program in relation to the screening and assessment requirements to achieve optimal outcomes for each woman accessing the service. 
  
Provide and support training to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality contemporary BreastScreen education and safe clinical practice.

About BreastScreen New South Wales

 

The BreastScreen programme on the NSW North Coast offers free screening mammogram appointments all year round, at its permanent clinics located in Tweed Heads, Lismore, Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie.  In addition to the permanent clinics, BreastScreen NSW operates a Mobile Unit which visits smaller towns in the region on an annual basis.

  1. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australian as a Specialist Radiologist and/or overseas trained specialist pathways
  2. Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Radiology in the specialist field of mammography (screen reporting & assessment clinics)
  3. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team
  4. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  5. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
  6. Valid unrestricted drivers' licence for use in NSW/Australia and a willingness to attend assessment clinics on the North Coast
