Staff Specialist Salary: $262,376 per annum - $354,479 per annum full time equivalent depending on experience

- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Addiction Medicine, and/or specialist international medical graduate pathways
- Approved opioid pharmacotherapies prescriber with a proven track record of achievement in the development and management of alcohol and other drugs services in response to clinical demands
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth and State policy in alcohol and other drugs, including understanding clinical governance and a commitment to patient safety and innovation
- Demonstrated ability in providing clinical leadership and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and professional training, research and quality improvement in a public AOD setting
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster and respond on site within a reasonable time
- Valid unrestricted driver licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment
