About the role

As a Registered Nurse at Casino District & Memorial Hospital, you'll coordinate and deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care in accordance with relevant standards, policies and procedures.

Working as the site Infection Prevention and Control Coordinator, you'll provide Health Care Workers (HCW) and Non Health Care Workers with information and education to guide appropriate and safe work practices. This is achieved through an effective Infection Control Program: initiating and actively working to prevent breaches of Infection Prevention and Control policies and procedures; reviewing and evaluating these policies and procedures, and working to prevent nosocomial infections and potential transmission of blood borne viruses.

You'll also provide an Occupational Screening and Vaccination (OS&V) service for the site.

Also known as the Rainbow Region, this area is blessed with stunning forests and waterfalls, fertile farming land, artistic villages and relaxed seaside communities. For a different type of scene, you can drive to the Gold Coast in less than 2 hours, or Brisbane in under 3 hours.
