This position works in close collaboration with the nursing team to provide compassionate, person-centred care through:
🧠 Individual engagement and behavioral support tailored to each patient's needs
🎨 Meaningful activities designed to ease agitation and promote emotional wellbeing
🦶 Support for mobility, falls prevention, and sensory stimulation to enhance physical safety
🛡️ Preserving dignity and safety for patients experiencing dementia, delirium, or frailty
Enhanced Care Activities Coordinators play a pivotal role in ensuring patients receive not only clinical attention but also vital emotional and psychosocial support—leading to fewer adverse events and a significantly improved patient experience.
You will receive comprehensive raining to confidently deliver Enhanced Care activities and provide meaningful support to patients.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse or meets the requirements for an Assistant in Nursing
Communicates effectively and works well in a team, builds strong relationships while maintaining professional boundaries
Is passionate about providing compassionate care to older patients in hospital settings and eager to develop valuable skills for supporting individuals with complex behaviours.
