This period of employment is to replace the current approved Maternity Leave of (60343451). The substantive employee has the industrial right to return to the position prior to any agreed end of contract date. The substantive employee’s return may be either to their full contracted hours or less than their full contracted hours per week. Where the return is to less than their full contracted hours per week, where agreed, your hours may be reduced to a maximum of the balance of hours remaining in the position. These reduced hours will be worked and paid in accordance with the relevant Award provisions.
If the employee you have replaced does not return from the specified leave, or is terminated for any reason, your Contract of Employment will cease on this employee’s official termination date subject to the Hospital/Facility giving you the required notice, as detailed in the Industrial Award under which you are employed.
About the role
The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) Mental Health coordinates, delivers and evaluates clinical nursing education programs at a ward/service level and provides clinical supervision in order to support development of evidence based, person centred nursing care in line with the standards, policies and procedures of the Ministry of Health and other statutory authorities.
