About the role

Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) is committed to the recruitment and retention of critical clinical positions in our workforce.
 
The Candidate Experience Officer (CXO) is responsible for creating a positive candidate experience through all stages of the recruitment lifecycle, which includes attraction, recruitment, onboarding and retention of our workforce.
 
Working closely with prospects, candidates, employees, key business stakeholders, recruitment staff and agencies, third parties, including the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and local organisations to ensure candidates have a positive experience through the recruiting and on-boarding processes. This includes supporting candidates and their families in their orientation, settlement and integration into their new workplaces and communities.
 
Providing candidates support throughout all phases of the recruitment life cycle, directly contributing to building strong candidate relationships and often providing candidates with their first impression of the NNSWLHD. Undertaking a vital part in helping guide candidates for identified critical clinical positions through the recruiting process to enhance and improve our staff recruitment and retention.
