  • Tertiary qualifications and be a member of relevant associations or registered with the relevant board, in one of the following disciplines: Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Nursing. Applications which fall under the health Professionals State Award (Psychology, Social Worker, Counselor) must provide evidence of 3 years clinical experience in their profession and under minimal direct professional supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of treatment and prevention approaches in the drug and alcohol field applicable to young people with complex needs.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in assessment, referral, casework, Youth and family counselling, group work and brief interventions
  • Demonstrated experience in consultation, liaison and working in partnership with government services, non-government agencies and the broader community groups.
  • Demonstrate experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of alcohol and other drug intervention and strategies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the developmental needs of young people and ability to work within the context of family and social attachments.
  • Current Australian drivers license
