Lead, inspire and shape the future of rehabilitation at Nepean Hospital. We are seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Rehabilitation service.

As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will coordinate and lead clinical education across a large rehabilitation ward while delivering hands‑on, high‑quality physiotherapy care. Working within a collaborative and highly experienced multidisciplinary team with strong university partnerships and a well-established student program, you will support physiotherapy students. You will also provide supervision and professional development for new graduate and Level 1/2 Physiotherapists, ensuring consistent, patient‑centred practice.

What you will bring to the role

  1. Degree in Physiotherapy and current National Physiotherapy Registration with AHPRA
  2. Evidence of extensive experience and demonstrated advanced levels of clinical expertise and leadership in a rehabilitation physiotherapy team.
  3. Demonstrated experience in managing a rehabilitation clinical service or team and proven ability to effectively prioritise, meet deadlines and organise a team's and own work and caseload.
  4. Extensive experience in student supervision with demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles, engaging, motivating, assessing and evaluating learners.
  5. Demonstrated ability to manage and support students across a range of activities to meet development goals /course/learning outcomes with an understanding of ClinConnect administration.
  6. Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement and/or research initiatives, service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
  7. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders including high level committees, written reports and submissions, and conference and seminar presentations.
