Are you an experienced and motivated Senior Pharmacist ? Nepean Cancer Services has a vital role in shaping and supporting the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred cancer care. As a Senior Pharmacist for Cancer Services, you will lead and provide expert clinical pharmacy support to Oncology and Haematology services, ensure safe prescribing, preparation, administration of systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT) and collaborate with Consultants, Nurses and Multidisciplinary teams to optimise treatment outcomes.

What you will bring to the role
- Currently registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with post registration clinical or management/leadership qualifications or equivalent skills/experience.
- Demonstrated high-level skills and experience as a clinical pharmacist: this includes advanced level knowledge of therapeutics in the areas of oncology and haematology, relevant legislation and ability to apply these skills in practice.
- Staff management experience in a public hospital environment, demonstrating an ability to lead, promote teamwork and innovation, and manage and supervise clinical and support staff.
- High-level written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff and patients.
- Demonstrated ability to meet multiple competing deadlines in a fast-paced, day-to-day clinical environment and effectively address unforeseen circumstances.
- Ability to develop and implement quality improvement activities or projects to improve pharmacy practice or services.
