Springwood Hospital was opened in 1976 as a community-based hospital in the Blue Mountains. Springwood community remains very active in supporting and raising funds for the hospital who provides a range of allied health, rehabilitation, aged care and palliative care services.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic and supportive clinical team. In this role, you will provide high quality, patient centred care while contributing to a safe, inclusive and collaborative environment. You will work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and ensure the delivery of exceptional clinical standards. What you will bring to the 

  1. Current registration as Registered Nurse - Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in Acute Care Nursing as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse).
  3. Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in general nursing.
  4. Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care.
  5. Demonstrated effective communication skills-written and verbal.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
  7. Ability to work a flexible roster including day, evening and night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirements.
