What you will bring to the role
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse Division 2 (without notation).
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skills in mental health nursing as an enrolled nurse working with people with serious mental health illness and physical illness related to them.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide recovery oriented, trauma informed person-centred care, family inclusive and culturally sensitive for persons accessing mental health services.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Ability to work a flexible roster – morning, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirements.
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
