Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely booking of patients to the waitlist, maintaining accurate data and statistical records, and reporting waitlist activity to relevant colleagues and medical practitioners. It also involves capturing and correcting WLCOS data to support prompt patient care, all in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines. The position plays a key part in streamlining service delivery and enhancing patient outcomes through meticulous coordination and compliance.

What you will bring to the role
- Experience with Surgery bookings in a Public Hospital setting.
- Understanding of NSW Health Waitlist Policy.
- Demonstrated experience with iPM, Scheduler and Powerchart.
- Commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of WLCOS.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Previous Waitlist and booking experience.
