What you will bring to the role
- This is an identified Aboriginal Position. Applicants must be of Aboriginal descent. Exemption is claimed under Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (or willingness to undertake training).
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated patient manual handling skills, knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to independently undertake tasks once delegated and operate with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities as delegated.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
