Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services. 

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day clerical functions of the Health Information 7 Record Service, which supports the provision of quality patient care.

What you will bring to the role 

  1. Knowledge of medical record terminology, practices and procedures.
  2. Previous experience using patient administration systems (WebPas).
  3. Previous experience in a health care setting
  4. Demonstrated ability to work both in an unsupervised environment and within a team with excellent interpersonal skills achieving team goals
  5. Demonstrated written English and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively in all forms, friendly, positive and enthusiastic attitude
