Where you'll be working
GP Unit - Hornsby Hospital.This advertisement seeks applications for work on Thursdays and Fridays and an optional half-day shift (to be negotiated with the successful candidate) This General Practice Unit is located within Hornsby Hospital and supports a small team of General Practitioners. The goal of the GP Unit is to provide a first-class medical service to patients, whilst maintaining a focus on teaching. 

What you'll be doing
The receptionist is the first point of contact for patients, doctors, specialists, and other health professionals.  As such, the successful candidate will be pleasant, courteous, highly professional, and able to interact with a wide and diverse cohort of people.  You will be working in a supportive environment but will display a high level of ability to make decisions on your own.  This role will support the current 3 receptionists; flexibility will be required to cover and rotate days for any potential roster change.We have two rotating shifts of an: 8:00am start and 4:30pm finish and 9:30 am start and 06:00 pm finish (alternating). The role also requires a 4 - hour shift on Saturday once a month from 08:00 - 12:00.
