Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

You will play an important role in supporting patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals, maximise independence, and improve their quality of life.
This position offers the opportunity to develop your clinical skills while working within a supportive environment focused on recovery, functional improvement and positive patient outcomes. The Enrolled Nurse will consult with the Registered Nurse to ensure delegation is commensurate with own level of competence and within Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) and Service policy particularly in relation to medication administration.
The Rehabilitation Unit provides specialised care to patients requiring coordinated multidisciplinary support to regain function and independence. As part of a dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and witness the impact of rehabilitation throughout their recovery journey.
Rehabilitation Nursing is about more than caring for patients during recovery. It is about helping individuals regain confidence, restore independence and return to the activities that matter most to them.
