Located in South Bowenfels, the Lithgow Campus is considered as a comprehensive community health centre supporting approximately 20,000 people living in the town and surrounding areas. The services available in Lithgow hospital include Domiciliary care unit, Emergency department, Geriatric assessment unit, Obstetric services, Paediatric service, Drug and Alcohol unit.

An exciting opportunity is now available at Lithgow Hospital for a General Clerk on a Permanent Part time basis working 16 hours per week.
In the role of general clerk you will provide front-line reception and clerical duties using a customer focused and friendly approach. The role will see you receive and direct incoming calls and enquiries.

What you will bring to the role:
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and adapt to changing work environments.
- Proven capacity to prioritise and multi-task, with the ability to work in a high volume and demanding environment.
- Accurate data entry and work processing skills and experience with data entry skills (patient registrations, patient data collection).
- Demonstrated ability to relate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team, and with a variety of people.
- Previous front-line customer service experience in health related position.
