What you'll be doing
Role 1: Senior Policy Officer, NDIS Reform
Full Time, Temporary (up to 2 years with possibility of extension)
This role will sit as part of a new team to set up Foundational Supports which are specific supports that would be outside the NDIS to help people with disability, and their families and carers. The initial focus will be supporting the design and implementation of services for children 0-8 years with developmental delay and/or autism. This role will coordinate and provide project management support and lead policy analysis and advice to support the design and implementation of Foundational Supports.

Role 2: Senior Policy Officer, NDIS Interface,
Full Time, Temporary (up to 9 months with possibility of extension)
The NDIS Interface team is the Ministry of Health policy lead for interface issues between the NDIS and the NSW Health system. This role will lead policy analysis of complex interface issues including hospital discharge delay, the impact of NDIS Reform on the NSW Health system, and NDIS participants at risk of social admission to hospitals.

About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
- Demonstrated relevant, professional experience in the area of health and social policy and/or relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Knowledge of disability issues, including the social and economic challenges faced by people with disability.
- Familiarity with relevant disability legislation including the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act and rules.
- Demonstrated experience and skill in supporting large scale project delivery in a health or disability environment
- Experience in developing, analysing and evaluating policy and other projects in a multi-disciplinary or multi-agency environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders to deliver on complex policy and program/project areas.
