About this role
With your skills and experience, you can contribute to the alignment of the Net Zero Roadmap with other statewide health strategies to improve environmentally sustainable health outcomes for the people of NSW.

The role will establish the reporting measures and tools for achieving Net Zero and decarbonisation policy requirements relevant for NSW Health buildings to include Green Building Council of Australia Green Star ratings, Green Lease, and assess the feasibility of using the NABERS Energy and Water for Hospitals tools across all sites
Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $125,693 - $138,510 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing
Evaluate the effectiveness of the NSW Health NABERS pilot program and provide recommendations for its future implementation within healthcare settings.
Identify and document the data sources used for asset sustainability reporting, including metrics related to energy use, material circularity, recycled content, and Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduction.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated capability in evaluation, design and delivery of asset sustainability programs to drive environmental outcomes in line with the NSW Government and NSW Health Policies and Frameworks in achieving its targets.
- Expert knowledge on matters related to sustainability in asset management, including facilities, property including legislation, resources and communications for key stakeholder groups.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
- The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment.
