Expressions of interest are being sought from NSW Health staff wishing to apply to this five (5) month internal opportunity. In order to be eligible to apply for this role, you must be a permanent/ongoing employee or a temporary employee.

This is a secondment opportunity where you are required to have permission from your home agency to be released from your usual duties for the period.

About this role
Looking for a job where you can create positive change? A temporary role is available at the Centre for Alcohol & Other Drugs, where you can support NSW Health to improve the health and wellbeing of people at risk of or experiencing harms from alcohol and other drug use.

In this role, you'll lead the development and delivery of AOD education and prevention programs and provide the community with clear, evidence-based information on AOD issues. You’ll work with key stakeholders across the state, collaborate with other teams and help shape the future of AOD prevention.

Crown Clerk 9/10, salary from $129,464 - $142,665 plus Super and annual leave loading

What you'll be doing
The main focus areas will be leading:

  • an open and competitive grants process for the CDAT program;
  • project and contract management of Aboriginal youth focused prevention grants; and
  • FASD communications and activities.

    About you:
     
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project and contract management skills
  • Experience in health promotion or public health
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment
