About this role

This is an extremely rare opportunity to deliver significant reforms, relevant to the regulatory settings for internationally qualified health practitioners in Australia. It has been identified that the experienced health workforce from overseas plays a critical role in supporting the Australian health system. These reforms aim is to ensure regulatory processes are time-efficient and streamlined, while remaining rigorous and effective, for overseas applicants and all entities involved.


Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $120,859 - $133,183 p.a. (plus superannuation and annual leave loading), with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing

You will have the opportunity to drive individual projects towards significant outcomes, such as development of resources to help overseas practitioners hit the ground running in Australian communities (see Kruk review Recommendations 8, 15 and 23). Our team is part of a national group of project leads supporting implementation of the Kruk review.


In addition, you will contribute to the project management and reporting functions, stakeholder management and collaboration. Key stakeholders in the projects will include the Commonwealth, state and territory health departments, Ahpra and National Boards, medical colleges and professional bodies in the health sector.
