About this role
The Senior Program Officer - Monitoring provides expert advice, project and program support for the systems and processes for monitoring compliance by practitioners with conditions imposed on their registration. The role supports the primary purpose of the Council which is to protect the health and safety of the public through the regulation of practitioners in response to complaints.

About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
• Well-developed understanding of the relevant parts of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW) (the Law) and other relevant legislation
• Proven experience in a regulatory environment; developing and maintaining systems to monitor and report on compliance, quality and improvement processes

The Health Professional Councils Authority (HPCA) is an executive agency of the NSW Ministry of Health. We play an important role in protecting the health and safety of the public by supporting the 15 NSW Health Professional Councils in managing complaints about NSW health practitioners.
