Senior Policy Officer
Expressions of interest are being sought from NSW Health staff wishing to apply to this twelve (12) month internal opportunity. In order to be eligible to apply for this role, you must be an employee of NSW Health.
This is a secondment opportunity where you are required to have permission from your home agency to be released from your usual duties for the period.

About this role
The Senior Policy Officer will undertake qualitative and quantitative research activities to support the Rural Generalist research project. This includes conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating data collection, and managing the overall research process.
The position will be responsible for analysing qualitative and quantitative data, identifying key themes and insights, and translating findings into an evidence-based report. This includes preparing written reports and presentations to inform policy, program design and continuous improvement of Rural Generalist initiatives.
Crown Clerk 9/10, salary from $129,464 - $142,665 plus Super and annual leave loading

About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience to align with the role description and selection criteria.
- Demonstrated experience and/or understanding of working and consulting with government and non-government agencies and a wide range of stakeholders to address sensitive and/or contentious issues.
- Demonstrated understanding of the processes for, and experience in policy development and analysis, and project management, including financial and risk management.
- High-level interpersonal, negotiation and written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated capacity for self-directed work and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
