Crown Clerk 9/10, salary from $129,464 - $142,665 p.a. (plus Super and annual leave loading)

What you'll be doing
This role will be responsible for leading:
- Coordinate and undertake the development and evaluation of policies, projects and programs for the Ministry of Health and related agencies to address current and emerging policy issues including supporting the implementation of the Closing the Gap Outcome 2 - children are born health and strong and Outcome 4 - children thrive in their early years.
- The position will work closely with health service providers, other government agencies, and key stakeholders, with the support of the Principal Policy Officer.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
- This is an Identified role under the Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 and as such Aboriginality is an essential requirement of the role.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated professional experience in one or more of the following areas: maternity, child and family health, paediatrics, youth health.
- Substantial experience in developing, analysing and evaluating complex policy / projects / programs in a multi-disciplinary or multi-agency environment.
- Experience in and/or understanding of Aboriginal maternal, child, youth and family health and the NSW Government Closing the Gap initiatives and priority reform areas.
