This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of allied health workforce across NSW, including targeted initiatives in Radiation Therapy. You will lead system-level workforce projects, support the development and implementation of strategic solutions, and deliver outcomes that strengthen health services across the state. Embedded in the Health Professional Workforce Unit allied health team, you will engage with a wide range of stakeholders, contribute to multidisciplinary workforce planning, and help translate evidence into actionable programs. This temporary 24-month role offers exposure to high-level executive engagement, cross-organisational collaboration, and workforce innovation, while providing the flexibility to support both priority projects and ongoing allied health workforce initiatives aligned with statewide strategies.
Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $129,464 - $142,665 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing
- Lead and coordinate statewide workforce initiatives, including Radiation Therapy and broader allied health priorities.
- Translate policy and strategy into actionable programs that support the delivery of high-quality care.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive workforce change and collaboration across NSW Health.
- Monitor project progress, provide evidence-based advice, and report outcomes to executive stakeholders.
- Contribute to workforce planning, talent development, and system improvement initiatives, enhancing the capability of the allied health workforce.
About you
We are seeking a motivated and highly capable allied health professional who can support NSW Health in delivering system-wide workforce initiatives. You will be experienced in:
- Experience supporting system-wide workforce initiatives, with the ability to navigate complex and evolving challenges and translate policy, strategy, and evidence into practical, implementable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders across allied health, multidisciplinary teams, and system partners.
- Experience leading or contributing to multidisciplinary projects or programs of work, applying sound project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills to deliver high-impact outcomes.
- A resilient, adaptable approach and growth mindset, enabling effective work in a dynamic environment, both autonomously and as part of a high-performing team.
- A demonstrated interest in influencing allied health workforce planning at a state level, including contributing to priority initiatives such as Radiation Therapy workforce solutions
