About the role

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Subject Matter Expert in Clinical trial Pharmacy to join our fast paced, dynamic team. The role will support a key program activity focused on establishing drug delivery pathways for clinical trials in rural, regional and remote areas. Responsibilities include project management, consultation and stakeholder management, and the implementation of the Rural, Regional and Remote Clinical Trial Enabling Program within the Office for Health and Medical Research. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to strengthening clinical trials infrastructure in rural and regional communities.

Crown Clerk 11/12, starting salary from $149,739 - $173,174 per annum plus Super and annual leave loading, pro-rata based on a 14-hour work week. The role operates in a hybrid working environment, with the office located at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards.

What you will be doing

•    Lead end‑to‑end project delivery, including planning, procurement, resource coordination, budget management, and reporting for assigned projects.
•    Continuously monitor and evaluate all aspects of implementation including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures and prepare high‑quality reports, framework, briefs, correspondence.
•    Support Key Activity 3 of the program, focused on establishing drug delivery pathways for rural, regional and remote locations in NSW and ACT. Undertake analysis, stakeholder engagement, and research activities to support the development of scalable, compliant clinical drug supply frameworks and inform facilities and equipment planning, optimisation, and sourcing.
•    Monitor and evaluate project delivery, managing risks, benefits realisation, quality, and alignment with Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) grant requirements and milestones.
 


About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

  • Demonstrated capability to plan and manage complex projects end‑to‑end, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications and/or substantial experience, delivering outcomes within time, budget, and quality requirements 
  • Proven experience in the clinical trials sector, with clinical trials pharmacy and logistics expertise and strong written and verbal communication skills to provide clear, accurate, and timely advice to a range of audiences
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration and consultation skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships across diverse partners, including rural and regional clinical trial stakeholders 
  • Highly organised and adaptable, able to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in complex environments
  • Experience in government is an advantage
