This is a secondment opportunity where you are required to have permission from your home agency to be released from your usual duties for the period.
About this role
This unique and exciting role provides critical support to the Legal and Regulatory Services leadership and management team and the Executive Director. This role enables effective decision making, ensuring collaboration and communication across teams, assisting with preparing of briefs, business reporting and the delivery of business improvement, engagement and change projects.
Crown Clerk 11/12, salary from $ 149,739 - $173,174 p.a. (pro rata) plus Super and annual leave loading.

What you'll be doing
- Providing high level support to the Executive Director and General Counsel in effectively managing, planning and coordinating the functions of the Branch, its staff and contractors in accordance with the Ministry's strategic and corporate objectives to ensure its efficient and smooth operation.
- Providing high quality organisation and business management advice on complex or significant issues as required to ensure that Branch Senior Executives are in a position to make sound and proper decisions.
- With your team, coordinate the effective planning and management of the resources within the Branch, and support the preparation of budget projections and inputs, and ongoing analysis and reporting of budget compliance and variations to Branch leadership.

- Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate and present solutions, ideas and recommendations.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
Strong understanding of finance and budgeting as well as the ability to collate information and interpret reports
