About this role


The Principal Executive Support Officer provides expert advice, executive, secretariat and operational support and professional relationship management services for the Secretary to effectively deliver NSW Health objectives and priorities.


Crown Clerk 11/12, salary from $139,787 - $161,663 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading with a 35-hour working week.

What you'll be doing

  • Acting as the first point of contact for the Secretary, you will be fielding a broad range of enquiries from Ministers, CEOs and external stakeholders.
  • Managing the Secretary’s diary and ensuring accurate assessment of priorities.
  • Reviewing the provision of communications and correspondence including briefings to the Secretary and Ministers.


About you


We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • An understanding of NSW healthcare systems and the processes of government.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
