About this role
The Executive Officer provides expert advice to the Executive Director, Government Relations, Strategy and Violence Prevention on a range of high-level executive, secretariat, and project support services, including leading strategic branch-wide projects, managing communications and implementing strategies to support the achievement of the organisation’s strategic and operational objectives.
Crown Clerk 11/12, starting salary from $149,739 - $173,174 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing
- Lead the preparation and coordination of strategic advice, information, correspondence and reports on diverse and complex policy, planning and operational matters.
- Lead branch-wide projects to support the achievement of organisation-level strategic and operational objectives.
- Lead the Executive Office team as they develop, implement and evaluate administrative practices, systems and procedures to optimise the achievement of quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Executive and other stakeholders on a wide range of sensitive, confidential, and urgent matters to support effective business relationships.
- Provide issues management and support, responding to emerging issues to ensure effective resolution with minimal risk to the organisation
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

- The ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders to support efficient business operations and timely issue resolution on a range of sensitive, confidential and urgent matters.
- Solutions-oriented, with a growth mindset and demonstrable commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
- The ability to lead small teams to design, implement and sustain critical Executive Office projects that support the achievement of branch-wide, division-wide and/or organisation-level strategic and operational objectives.
- Provide consistent, high-quality support to the Executive in a high-pressure, high volume, dynamic and demanding work environment.
