Executive and Ministerial Services – Allocations and Assessment Officer (Multiple positions - ongoing and temporary)

Join our Executive and Ministerial Services Branch at the Ministry of Health for an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in the Allocation and Assessments team.

It helps to deliver the provision of high quality and timely advice on matters to Ministers and executives relevant to the Health portfolio.  

The role is responsible for allocating and assessing responses, supporting health areas to meet business deadlines in a busy and fast paced environment. You will work in a team to manage the flow of information and have the opportunity to identify process and quality improvements.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong communication (written and verbal), collaboration and coordination skills, with demonstrated experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent M365, organisational and administrative skills.
  • The ability to collaborate with colleagues across NSW Health so business needs are met.
  • Experience in supporting a busy executive/team/branch.
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to develop, maintain and update processes, systems and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities appropriately with minimal supervision.

You thrive in networking and teamwork, building and maintaining strong working relationships, whether as part of a motivated team or working autonomously with limited guidance.

You will also have:

  • A proven ability to follow process and work autonomously to manage priorities.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience working within a government department or agency.
  • Understanding of Departmental and Government processes.

Crown Clerk 7/8, starting salary from $110,266 - $122,058 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.
