About the Role

The Training Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in driving the successful implementation of the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) across the Mid North Coast Local Health District.  Responsible for the end to end design, development, deployment and evaluation of training, this role ensures the workforce is confident, capable and ready to embrace new clinical and corporate workflows enabled by the SDPR.

Leading a team of trainers, the Training Manager develops and delivers a comprehensive, district wide training strategy and plan that supports safe, efficient, and sustainable system adoption.  Working in close partnership with clinical, operational, and digital stakeholders, the role fosters collaboration and alignment across acute, subacute, community and virtual care settings ensuring staff are well prepared to deliver high quality care in a digitally enabled environment.

This is a Full-Time Temporary role based in either Coffs Harbour or Port Macquarie with offices in both locations.  Ability to travel within the district is a must as this will support training delivery and stakeholder engagement across our multiple locations.

About You

You bring relevant tertiary qualifications, supported by extensive experience in adult learning, training design and workforce capability development within large, complex service environments and have led the development and delivery of training programs for large scale digital and clinical information system implementations, ensuring staff are confident and capable in adopting new technologies and workflows.

As an experienced leader you have successfully managed training teams and coordinated resources across multiple sites, fostering collaboration and consistency in delivery and are known for your strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex digital workflows into clear, practical and accessible learning experiences for diverse audiences.

Highly organised and analytical, you thrive in demanding project environments, effectively planning, prioritising and delivering high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes.  You can build strong, productive relationships with clinicians, operational leaders, subject matter experts and project teams, using collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills to drive alignment and shared success.
