Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa). 

What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.   

About You
You hold current authority to practise as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and you apply this registration with a high level of professional accountability. You demonstrate well‑developed nursing skills and contemporary clinical knowledge that align with the demands of an acute hospital environment, consistently delivering safe, evidence‑based care. Your approach to patient management reflects strong clinical reasoning and problem‑solving abilities, enabling you to optimise patient outcomes even in complex or rapidly changing situations.

You communicate effectively across all modalities, using information technology, clear documentation, and confident verbal and interpersonal skills to support cohesive and accurate clinical communication. You coordinate patient care within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to collaborative decision‑making and ensuring care plans are organised, timely and outcome‑focused. Your practice reflects advanced clinical capability in the perioperative setting, including experience with trauma presentations, where you maintain composure, precision and adherence to best‑practice standards.

You are committed to service delivery across a seven‑day rotating roster, including public holidays and participation in an on‑call system, demonstrating reliability, flexibility and a strong sense of professional responsibility.
