Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa). 


What you'll be doing 

Practicing and promoting sage, efficient and effective midwifery care that reflects current standards of midwifery and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures. 

Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) Midwives receive a 29% allowance in accordance with PD001511 – Registered Midwife (Pilot Annualised Salary Agreement IB2014-050).

 

The MNCLHD are currently seeking a Registered Midwife to join our amazing team in the Midwifery Group Practice at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus.

About you

  • Current Registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and competency in the provision of midwifery care relevant to a continuity of midwifery care model
  • Provide clinical problem-solving skills to maximise midwifery care
  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and coordinate midwifery care in a multidisciplinary team environment providing outcome based care.
  • Participation in a flexible roster arrangement including on-call to support the needs of the MGP.
  • Hold an unencumbered driver’s license.
