Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa).
What you'll be doing
Providing a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors, and assisting clinical staff in the care and comfort of patients.
About You
You hold a current Class 1A Security Licence issued by the NSW Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED), a current Senior First Aid Certificate, and a valid driver’s licence. You operate under the MNCLHD Master Licence 410572298.
You demonstrate a high level of competence in managing aggressive incidents and challenging behaviours, and you respond appropriately and decisively to duress situations.
You exhibit flexibility in following direction from supervisors and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
You communicate with clarity and professionalism when engaging with staff at all levels, as well as with patients, clients and members of the public.
You possess a sound understanding of environmental cleaning requirements and comply with work health and safety principles, including safe manual handling and infection control practices.
You are prepared to participate in a seven‑day rotating roster that includes weekends, public holidays, school holidays, and morning, afternoon and night shifts.
You demonstrate an understanding of, and a willingness to work within, a morgue environment.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.
