Selection Criteria
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Medicine Physician.
- Demonstrated experience and commitment relevant to General Medicine and evidence of competence in skills relevant to a regional hospital practice.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills, fostering positive and productive working relationships between team members and with other disciplines.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education and relevant to General Medicine including teaching of medical students, JMOs, Nursing Staff, and other staff as required and an ongoing commitment to research.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to clinical quality improvement, accreditation requirements and peer review.
