About the Role
As a Speech Pathologist Level 1/2, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality assessment, intervention, and management services for adults experiencing communication and swallowing disorders. Working across inpatient and outpatient settings, you will manage a diverse caseload while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.

About You
You are a motivated and compassionate Speech Pathologist who is committed to delivering person-centred care and achieving positive patient outcomes. You hold a Bachelor or Postgraduate qualification in Speech Pathology (or equivalent) and are eligible for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
You bring sound clinical knowledge in the assessment and management of adult communication and swallowing disorders and are confident applying contemporary evidence-based approaches in your practice. You thrive in both collaborative multidisciplinary settings and when working independently, demonstrating excellent time management skills to effectively manage a varied caseload. Strong verbal and written communication skills, a commitment to professional excellence, and a current unrestricted driver's licence will set you up for success in this role.

What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective Adult Speech Pathology services to Bellinger River District Hospital Sub-Acute Unit, and working across other units as required, with support to Dorrigo MPS as time and resources permit.
Services reflect current standards of Speech Pathology practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
The BRDH Speech Pathologist works in consultation with the Head of Department Speech Pathology, Coffs Clinical Network.
