About the role:
Step into a pivotal role as a Registered Nurse (RN) within our vibrant and dedicated Emergency Department (ED) team, where your clinical skills and compassionate care will make a meaningful impact every day. If you're looking for a fast pace and variety amongst the high acuity cases that present at the ED, look no further than Tamworth. As the rural referral hospital for the region and a level 5 ED, you will see cases not often found in other facilities. On any given day, you will be working with a brilliant multidisciplinary team to achieve health outcomes for both adult and paediatric patients through our models of care.

You won't be working alone. You will be supported by the friendly and diverse members of the Emergency team, including Clinical Nurse Educators (CNE's), Clinical Nurse Consultants (CNC's), Nurse Unit Managers (NUM's) and Nurse Practitioners. This, combined with the 24hr onsite medical staff and allied health team members, the ED team is a dynamic and welcoming place to work. The team also has great relationships with external emergency services and are included in planning, debriefs etc when events occur in the region. The team is large enough that training and development opportunities are consistently available, but small enough that a true sense of community is felt by those who enter the ED.

This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to excellence in healthcare, where your commitment to quality, safety, and holistic care will be truly valued and supported.
