Step Into the Role
As a Registered Nurse in Community Health, you’ll provide holistic care across a diverse caseload, including wound, continence, and palliative care. You’ll be part of a supportive Community Nursing and Palliative Care team, with the autonomy to manage your day while knowing guidance is always available.
In this role you will:
- Deliver safe, person-centred care in homes and clinic environments
- Provide clinical care including wound management, continence support and palliative care
- Build strong relationships with patients, families and carers
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to continuity of care across the community
- The role is based in Armidale but will be required to assist in leave coverage and periods of increased activity in the Community Health Services of Walcha and Guyra.
You’ll be supported from day one with a structured onboarding experience, including a new starter booklet and competency-based training, alongside guidance from Clinical Nurse Consultants, Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs), and Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS2s).

- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- A valid NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel for work
- Strong communication skills and a client-centred approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience (or willingness to learn) in:
- Wound care
- Continence management
- Catheter care
- Palliative care
