About the Role
Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.
The role of the Imaging Administrator PACS Support Officer includes daily operation of the Mammography Digital System (PACS) system to ensure the correct and efficient handling of medical images including image workflow, archiving, and obtaining prior images, and facilitating communication between patients, surgeons, and other radiology practices for screening and assessment purposes. Perform the quality checking of the PACS to maintain an accurate and reliable record to support the highest standard of client care.
